Congratulations to Evan N. Dawley (AM '98, PhD '06) on the recent publication of his book "*Becoming Taiwanese: Ethnogenesis in a Colonial City, 1880s-1950s"* as *Harvard East Asian Monographs 420* by [Harvard University Press, April 2019](http://www.hup.harvard.edu/catalog.php?isbn=9780674237209). Evan Dawley is currently Associate Professor of History at Goucher College in Maryland.
