Congratulations to the RSEA students who worked together for several months to plan the annual HEAS (Harvard East Asia Society) Conference, held February 8th-9th. HEAS co-chairs Casey Stevens and Jalem Towler organized the conference with the help of other RSEA students. This year's HEAS Conference on the theme of Voice and Silence: Memory in East Asia attracted graduate students from many institutions to partiipate in fifteen panel discussions on a range of topics, and two keynotes delivered by esteemed Professors Emeriti Ezra Vogel and Steven Owen.
