Marc Szepan is General Manager-designate for an aircraft maintenance engineering company in China. Marc’s previous career spans the academic and corporate world. Most recently, he served as Lecturer in International Business at the University of Oxford Saïd Business School. Previously, he was an executive at Lufthansa where he led technical and digital aviation businesses. In 2012, Marc was recognized as one of Aviation Week & Space Technology’s “40 Under Forty: Rising Stars of Aerospace and Aviation”. In addition to the AM in RSEA, Marc received a BA from Middlebury College and a doctorate in Management Studies from the University of Oxford Saïd Business School. He also holds an MBA from the Duke University Fuqua School of Business. Marc was affiliated with the Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies as Associate in Research during the academic year 2022-2023.
