Dana Tang

Dana Tang is a partner at Gluckman Tang Architects, an internationally-recognized architecture and planning firm with a body of work that includes museums, educational institutions, residential and commercial projects. As lead architect on many of the firm's celebrated projects, including Mii amo Spa in Sedona, Arizona; the Philadelphia Museum of Art Perelman Building; and the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo, Dana has applied her unique and broad perspective, gained through a multi-disciplinary background, to the process of design and to her collaboration with clients and consultants. In recent years, Dana has spearheaded the firm's presence in China, securing and leading the design of three major museums in Shanghai and Hangzhou. She is currently completing a student center at Drexel University and working on master planning for a luxury resort in Yunnan and a resort in the Bahamas. After completing her Master's degree in Regional Studies - East Asia, Dana taught Chinese language and Asian-American Literature at Colorado College for a year, and then decided to pursue a career in architecture. She completed her graduate studies in architecture at Yale and joined what was then Gluckman Mayner Architects in 1995. Dana is a founding board member of the West Lake Society, a foundation that supports the Zhejiang University Museum of Art and Archaeology, and is also on the board of Enchantment Group, a resort hospitality company. She lives in New York City with her husband and two children.
