Daniel Hauck

Daniel Hauck is currently the Global Executive Editor for Deals and Corporate Finance with Bloomberg News in New York. Hauck got his start in journalism with Reuters in Tokyo in 2001, covering Japanese companies and the Tokyo stock market. He joined Bloomberg in New York in 2004 and spent three years reporting on the U.S. stock market, before moving to London in 2007 to oversee coverage of the European equity markets during the global financial crisis. Since returning to New York in 2009, he has served as a global manager editor for IPOs, mergers & acquisitions, and company news, before assuming his current role this year.
