2020 RSEA Alumni Panel

The 8th annual RSEA Alumni Panel will be held virtually this year, on Thursday October 22 at 7:00 pm EST. Six RSEA alumni panelists have been invited to share their career experiences and advice. Breakout sessions will allow for further conversations about academic and non-academic careers.

2020 RSEA Alumni Panelists:

Jack Meng-Tat Chia (AM '11), Assistant Professor of History and Religious Studies at the National University of Singapore;

Jessica J. Lee (AM ’08), Senior Research Fellow for East Asia at the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft;

Bin Ouyang (AM ’12), Associate Director of China Programs, Asia Society, and former journalist;

Julie Sheetz (AM ’12), Chief of Staff for Asian and Pacific Security Affairs at the Office of the Secretary of Defense;

Maiko Takeuchi (AM ’07), Member of the Panel of Experts on North Korea, UN Security Council;

Judith T. Zeitlin (AM ’83), Professor in Chinese literature in the Department of EALC and the Committee on Theater and Performance Studies at the University of Chicago.
