Lina Nie participated in the University of Oxford's China Humanities Graduate Conference: Engaging China, January 10-11, 2018. Lina presented her paper "Perspective from the Margins: A Comparative Study of Textbooks of Chinese History in East Asia" as part of a panel on Making a "Chinese" Civilization. Lina is currently in her second year of the RSEA program. She received her B.A. in Chinese History and Japanese Studies at the University of Hong Kong. She has published journal articles in both Chinese and English on Sino-Japanese history.
