Patrick Chun is the Founding and Managing Partner of Juxtapose, a New York based investment firm that partners with experienced entrepreneur operators to build industry-transforming ventures from the ground up. He started Juxtapose in 2015 with the mission of founding the world’s pre-eminent firm building category-defining technology businesses. Chun’s pursuit of systematic early-stage company creation spans nearly two decades, and he is one of the world’s most experienced leaders at the inception stage of venture- and private-equity backed businesses, having helped build or shape over 20 businesses in his career (including several that have gone public). Before starting Juxtapose, Chun was involved at the principal/partner level at several of the world’s best formation-oriented venture firms, including Thrive Capital, Accretive, and Bain Capital Ventures. Earlier in his career, he spent time in technology private equity at Francisco Partners, and started his career at McKinsey. Chun has an A.B. from Harvard College, a Masters from the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences at Harvard University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
