Marc Szepan

Dr. Marc Szepan, German, currently serves as General Manager of Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Company Ltd. (GAMECO).

GAMECO is headquartered in Guangzhou, People’s Republic of China, employs over 7,900 team members, and is ranked by Aviation Week & Space Technology / Inside MRO as one of the global Top 10 aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) companies.

Previously, Marc was an executive at Lufthansa, where he was responsible for MRO and flight operations support businesses based in Asia, Europe, and the U.S. In 2012, he was recognised as one of Aviation Week & Space Technology’s “40 Under Forty: Rising Stars of Aerospace and Aviation”. He has also served as a faculty member at the University of Oxford Saïd Business School.

Marc received an MBA from the Duke University Fuqua School of Business, an AM in Regional Studies East Asia from Harvard University, and a DPhil in Management Studies from the University of Oxford.
